Terms of Service

Publication note: These terms describe the intended VidiYow product and payment model. Before accepting paid orders, the operator details, checkout disclosures, withdrawal flow and actual technical data flows must be completed and checked. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.

1. Operator and contact

VidiYow is developed and operated by an independent individual developer. It is not represented as a GmbH or another incorporated company. Public contact email: vidiyow@mail.com.

The operator's full legal name and legally sufficient geographical address must be supplied in the Operator Information page before paid commercial operation where required by applicable law. No fictitious company, address or registration number is claimed. The operator's residence, actual establishment and business activity—not merely the server location—may be relevant to applicable law.

2. What VidiYow does

VidiYow is media-player software. It helps users connect, organise and play media sources that they select or provide. It supports technical connection methods and formats including M3U/M3U8 playlists, Xtream-style services and Stalker/MAC portals. IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is a technical method of delivering audiovisual streams; its use is not inherently unlawful.

VidiYow does not itself operate a television channel, broadcast service, film or series catalogue, IPTV subscription service, or provider account service. It does not host or supply third-party stream files, channel subscriptions, playlists or provider credentials. The availability of a connection method does not mean VidiYow has verified the source, provider, licence or territorial rights.

3. Public streams and third-party directories

Users may connect their own media, official public-broadcaster streams, free-to-air services where permitted, public-domain or openly licensed media, and other sources they are legally entitled to access. VidiYow may refer users to independent public stream directories for convenience. Such directories are operated by third parties; VidiYow does not control their entries, destinations, availability or licensing status.

For example, the community-maintained iptv-org project describes itself as a collection of publicly available IPTV channel links and states that it stores no video files. It says links are believed to have been intentionally made public by copyright holders, but this is not a guarantee for every stream, territory or use. Users should check the broadcaster's own website, applicable terms and rights before use. The example is informational and does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or blanket endorsement by VidiYow.

4. User responsibility and lawful use

You are responsible for selecting sources and ensuring that you are entitled to access and use them in your country. Do not use VidiYow to access or redistribute content in breach of copyright, contract, access restrictions or other applicable law. Public accessibility of a URL alone does not prove that every use is authorised. VidiYow does not provide credentials, circumvent access controls or instruct users to obtain unauthorised subscriptions.

5. No content verification or editorial curation

VidiYow is a general-purpose player and does not routinely inspect or certify every stream, playlist or portal supplied by users or listed by independent third parties. Playback compatibility is not a representation about content ownership or legality. External sources may change, become unavailable, move, or contain inaccurate metadata. VidiYow does not guarantee their quality, safety, availability or continuity.

6.1 Optional public example playlist

The website may provide a link to a public M3U playlist maintained by the independent iptv-org project as an optional example that users can add themselves. The playlist is not owned, hosted, operated or editorially controlled by VidiYow. Its entries are dynamic and individual channels may stop working, be removed, change destination or be unavailable in particular countries. VidiYow does not promise that any specific channel will be available now or in the future. The user chooses whether to load the playlist and remains responsible for checking the relevant broadcaster's terms and applicable rights. The example playlist is not a Premium feature and is not the subject of the Premium payment.

6. Accounts and service operation

Account registration is used to provide account access and associate Premium entitlements with the correct account. Limited operational information may be used for security, abuse prevention, user-count monitoring and server-capacity planning. The data actually processed, purposes, recipients and retention periods are described in the Privacy & Cookie Notice. Provide accurate information where requested and keep access codes confidential.

7. Free and Premium

VidiYow offers a free version and an optional Premium unlock. The current stated Premium price is a one-time payment of €2.99 EUR. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Premium is activated for the registered account after confirmation of successful payment by the payment provider. The payment is consideration for the Premium functionality presented at checkout; it is not a charitable or tax-deductible donation.

Before ordering, the checkout must clearly identify the seller, show the total price including applicable taxes, describe the Premium functions and any material limitations, state that payment is one-off with no automatic renewal, and use a button that clearly communicates the payment obligation. Stripe is identified in the current implementation as payment processor; this must be updated if the live checkout uses another provider. VidiYow does not claim to receive or store full payment-card details.

8. Digital delivery, withdrawal and conformity rights

Consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts. The precise rules depend on the contract and whether Premium is treated as a digital service or digital content. Do not assume that payment or immediate activation alone waives withdrawal rights. If performance is to begin during the withdrawal period, the checkout must obtain the separate, explicit consent and acknowledgement required by the applicable law, where relevant, and send the required contract confirmation on a durable medium. Until the legally correct process is implemented, mandatory withdrawal rights must be honoured.

Consumers also retain mandatory statutory rights concerning conformity, functionality, compatibility, security, updates and remedies for digital products. These terms do not exclude or reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Availability, updates and support

Playback of external sources depends on third-party operators, their servers, internet connections, geographical restrictions, devices and supported formats. VidiYow has no control over independent public playlists or the streams to which they point. A channel may be changed, removed, blocked, moved or permanently discontinued without notice. VidiYow does not guarantee the availability, quality, continuity or future existence of any external channel or playlist.

Premium is payment for the VidiYow Premium functionality described at checkout, not for access to, or continued availability of, any third-party channel, playlist or broadcaster. VidiYow does not offer an additional commercial money-back guarantee solely because an external stream or public playlist becomes unavailable. This statement does not exclude or limit mandatory statutory withdrawal rights, remedies for defects in VidiYow's own digital functionality, or any other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. The operator may maintain, update or modify the software as reasonably necessary, while respecting mandatory consumer rights. Support: vidiyow@mail.com.

10. Reports about content or links

If you believe that a link or item expressly published by VidiYow infringes your rights, contact vidiyow@mail.com with the exact URL or item, identification of the protected work or right, your contact details, and a brief explanation of the alleged infringement and your authority to report it. VidiYow will review sufficiently specific reports and take appropriate action within its control. VidiYow cannot remove or control media hosted by an independent third-party broadcaster or website; reports about the underlying stream may need to be sent to that host or rights holder.

11. Liability and applicable law

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights where exclusion is prohibited by law. The applicable law and competent courts depend on the operator's actual establishment, the customer's location and mandatory consumer-protection rules. No foreign governing-law clause is used to deprive consumers of mandatory protections.

12. Updates

These terms should be updated whenever the product, payment provider, Premium features, source-directory links or data processing materially changes. Last updated: 3 November 2026. Questions: vidiyow@mail.com.
